Hello folks,

Does anybody know of a source for training materials for the REX (reverse engineering, restyle) module of proe??
I need written materials (such as guides) or downloadable materials.
traveling to get the training is not an option.

I already tried ptc.

thanks, regards

Al.

PTC university website used to give trial access to it's courses, and REX was one of the trial options. i don't know if it is still available for free. just give it a try.

here is the address:

REX training

I created quite a bit of training materials for Restyle the reverse engineering software. I't basically the geomagic tools re appropriated with a decent attempt at the Creo ribbon user interface. http://proetools.com/creo-surfacing-level-4-restyle-reverse-engineering/ We will be adding this to our video training delivery system this year.

I've been trying to get the engine builders for motocross and sport bikes interested in scanning engine housings. Modifying the cases and creating NC tool paths. Folks seam to be intimidated by computers LOL
