I am a beginner user of abaqus. I just would like to inquire about how to revolve an imported part in abaqus. This is because I have imported tire parts from abaqus database via its plug-ins/tools/install courses. But I could not revolve or extrude these parts as abaqus requires me to sketch the geometry from scratch and then can apply revolve feature into it. Also, when I want to edit the feature of the imported parts, abaqus gives me the following message: the selected feature has no modifiable parameters.
Any hints or comments on that?
