Retention time in furnace

I want to do circulation fan selection for a Gas nitriding furnace modification.I am looking for retention time of gases for different materials during heating/nitriding cycles of two stage Floe process.Can anybody help?

Duration of process depends on material and depth of case required. A positive dissociated ammonia gas flow through the furnace must be assured during the whole active nitriding stages.
