My municipality has reached the limit of its capacity with its lagoon system ('surface-aerated basins' per Wiki). I am interested in learning about avenues for improvement when they decide to invest in new facilities. Can anyone suggest some web resources along the lines of 'Wastewater Treatment for Dummies'? Thanks in advance.

What type of lagoon system do you have? Is it a Biolac type System?
