Ventilation Rate for Closed Top Wastewater Tanks

I'm wondering if anyone has experience or could point me to a resource on wastewater tank ventilation rates - active ventilation not passive.

I have a closed top EQ tank that needs ventilation/odor control - this tank has submerged mechanical mixing not coarse aeration. My question is - is there a rule of thumb for ventilation rates on these type of tanks? Headspace volume turnover rate? Trying to size flow rate for odor control.

Maybe you can add some details to your post.

What is the gas? Hydrogen sulfide? Is the gas an air toxic? Industrial waste?

Why can't you sparge the gas back into the water?
