Hi All
I am using nx, and I want to put a quick link on the resource bar, if at all possible to one of my network drive.

for example : this is the drive I want to look in U:\C-UGNX_CLSF\*.*, in manufacturing I need to access *.ptp files periodically, so I would like to just click over at the resource bar and pick a file I would like to open up in a editor, like note.

I don't know if this will work & unfortunately I am at home at the moment & don't have access to NX. Try Preferences -> User Interface then clicking Resource Bar tab. There should be a home page URL setting that you can set to be the path to the directory you want.

I don't think you can add additional IE tabs though, in case that is what you were wanting to do.

Hope this helps.

EngMfg1,

You can add your own IE html file as your home page in the resource bar. In that html file you can have your own links, editor, graphics or whatever you like in a normal web page.

Is this suits you?

very slyly

[thumbsup2]

a star for you
