what are the requirements of pipeline design: elbows, tees, etc for running intelligent pigs?

Consult the smart pig manufacturer regarding the launcher/receiver lenghts, turning radii, etc. The lengths and other requirements are not uniform.

I saw one recent ad where they claimed they could run their pigs (and they were smart pigs) through 1.5 bends. Some of the older models required quite a larger radius bends so as suggested, talk to the various vendors.
