in my original design i had a piece of rectangular tubing that i placed in a final assembly. i now need to add a piece of round tubing to the rectangular tubing as a pivot point. i need to add this pivot point to a weldment for the rectangular tubing and then place that weldment in my final model to replace the single rectangular tube component. my problem is i have tons of constraints set to that single piece of rec tube and am afraid by replacing it with the new weldment all those contraints will have to be reset to the surfaces of the weldment. is this true or is there a way to avoid having to reset all the constraints. thanks in advance for any help.
