Inventor Crashing While Printing Large Assembly Drawings to HP OfficeJet Pro 7740

Hello,
I have a recent issue printing large assembly drawings (20-30 sheets) to an HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 printer. Has anyone else experienced a similar issue, and is there a known fix?

Print to PDF.
Print the PDF to the HP.
Does that help?

I have done the print from PDF thing and it is a workaround, but shouldn't HP and/or Autodesk have a fix?
