We used Rhenosin C10 as softener and homogenizing agent. Now it is not available anymore. Does someone know an acceptable replacement? It should not contain aromatic hydrocarbons.
What rubber are you using the Rhenosin C10 in? And at what level?
Coumarone indene resins such as this one are fairly commonly used as a plasticizer and tackifier in various types of rubber. In millable urethanes (Millathane®) that I work with, it gives pretty good overall properties, but I usually specify T95 (DBEEA) to use in its place as the CI resins aren't readily available everywhere in the world. BTW, where are you located? What other plasticizers do you have available? Sorry for all the questions, but there are several factors to consider in any raw material substitution.

I do not need Rhenosin C10 anymore- we solved the problem in another way. We are located in Vienna (Austria). I am a chemist (had nothing to do with rubber just a few months ago...) and new in this business, therefore my question.
