Hi,

there is AFAIK no other choice other then by creating a new one an using Custom orientation

I am hoping for solution. It might be there in.

Does it not combursome to rework, after dressing-up entire drawing and at-last, it is realised that base view is not in its correct orientation.

I believe, there should be solution somewhere.

Depends on what you mean by reorient. If you mean rotating a 2D view 90 degrees then you can do that under the view properties. On the General tab you will see a box at the bottom titled "Rotation Angle"

If you mean reorient a isometric view then there is nothing you can do other than place a new view

If you mean, for example, changing a top view to a right view, the answer is again no.
I know you can do it in SolidWorks, but that uses an different method of creating drawing views.

If it's an assembly you may be able to work a cluge by creating a configuration in the model but I wouldn't recomend it.

Kenat - What's a checker ?
They seemed to start disappearing around the same time as drawing boards when some managers began to say "We've got cad now so everything will be right anyway" [lol]

Ours got laid off Thursday, the highly qualified VP (i.e. Marketing Background not any kind of Technical) of a completely different department decided he was expendable. So now I get to do it.
