I'm working with Patterns a 3D Synchronous part. Have created a simple index plate for a rotary encoder - a disk with 40 holes around the outer edge. Would like to create a Drawing/Sketch from this but can't seem to get the Pattern details to show. It is a Circular Pattern and has a name of "Pattern 2".
I'd like to create a 2D sketch of this part, and am getting the basic details out - but can't seem to associate the Circular Pattern details to the sketch - would want the hole-count to display, and be updated if I change the 3D part. I'm sure this is a very simple step, but can't seem to find how to make it work!
