If I have use *equation constraint in Step 1 to control node Set with node set B. Is that possible to remove this constaint in step 2, so that I can fix node set A but allowing node set B to move free?

In general, constraints (e.g., Tie, Equation) cannot be modified from one step to another.

One solution might be to use the subroutine MPC.

Solved the problem with connector (stiff spring) as they are elements and can be removed in step 2
