Slightly out of my element so pardon the lack or misuse of terminology.

I have a Relay (12v DC 10A 'ice cube') SPDT connected to a smaller 555 timer/relay circuit. The circuit fails to reset when I use it's relay (12v DC 3A) to trigger the larger relay (10A). I need the larger relay to have adequate power. Is there a way of making the relay reset.

Thanks.

I can only suggest that you make sure the 555 is capable of actually driving a load as big as any relay. And if it actually can then make sure that the relay's coil has a fly-back diode across it or you can have the relay spiking the 555's brains out and causing it to either fry or mis-trigger.
