While discussing the effect of grain size on Ms temperature, composition of the steel must be considered. Alloying elements have a strong role in influencing Ms temperature.
A few reports suggest that for a given alloy chemistry, with reduction in austenite grain size, there is a marginal dip in Ms temperature.
