Relation Icon? 1

I've notice sometime the small relationship icon sometimes appears directly over a point while other times it's off to the side? I know you can toggle them on and off but is there somewhere to designate their location ? When the icon appears over a point, I have trouble picking that point without turning them off.

under the "view" menu, look for "Sketch Relations"
