I need to build a rectangular reinforced concrete beam that measures 30" in length, 6" in height, and 6" in width that will withstand a load, in the center of the beam, of 80 ksi. Does anyone have a design that would take that load?
There isn't a concrete that I know that will take 80ksi. You even need to go beyond the standard steels to reach that. I've used 100ksi steels but that was for a very specific application and for a client that could afford to pay for it.
Are you sure about the 80ksi or do you mean 80 kips?
Why such a concentrated load?
