Region Faces in Class Selection Dialog

Region faces is one such feature/filter, which is available with most of the Synchronous Modeling commands, that could have been useful in the Class Selection dialog, in the "Detail filter" of "Face" selection. Can be an ER.

Can anyone help me with journal command to select the faces by region option, to change the face color.
