I am evaluating commercial properties for a facility that will include a chemical research laboratory. This facility will require the use of microbalances of a type that are routinely placed on heavy marble tables to reduce vibration. Two promising facilities are near (<100m) active railroad tracks. I am seeking any information that would help me evaluate the likelihood of railroad activity interfering with the balances.
