Hi All,

When I first approched this quite some time ago, see part 4, I achieved what I wanted but it was a bit of a 'Dogs Breakfast' to say the least. With a bit of time on my hands I returned to the problem and thought about using Sweep - see part 5. It's still a 'Dogs Breakfast' though.

Sure its quicker, especially when using a large rectangular pattern, but there's got to be a better way. Also by using Sweep to cut, you cannt fully get rid of the cetral part. I could use another 'Extrude Cut', but that's adding more steps which slows the Rectangular Pattern down again.

The size difference is not the issue nor is the layout it's getting the initial process right. Can anyone help with one.

Best Rgds,
Dave R.
