Recommended velocity for Propne

I may be missing the point here, but the velocity will be dependent on your pipe run size (dia), wall thickness, flow rate, and pressure drop.

Are you trying to work backwards from a velcoity and then size a line?

I've got to run some piping from two 1000 gallon tanks outside to boilers inside a facility.

I'm assuming that just like chilled water, there is a recommended velocity/pressure drop that is typically used when sizing pipe to simplify the process. This velocity is typically related to errosion of pipe, water hammer, etc.

Its a little different than chilled water, because it tends to turn into a gas when you take the pressure off of it. The available pressure is highly sensitive to tank temperature as well.
