Hello, hope you can give me some tips and hints as I am very new to Labview.

I am making a theshold test application (for some ICs), and will use the Keithley K2430 sourcemeter to provide the ramp to the input and Keithley K2000 multimeter to monitor the reset (goes high when the IC goes above the threshold).

I have found that it is very difficult to sync the K2430 with the K2000, and doing an increment loop proved to be too slow.

So what I want to do is have the K2000 continuously read so that I can easily predict at what ramp level did the reset occurred. Kind'a like a real-time data acquisition. Is this possible to do in Labview?

In my mind, I would do a sweep with the K2430, then when the reset goes high, I will have Labview log the data at that ramp level. I'm not sure how accurate it will be, but I guess I could add a little delay for the software to catch up.

Thanks in advance
