Hi

I am searching methods for measure an horizontal stabilizer leading edge made of aluminium 2XXX without doing any test.

I only find a method--> Compare the marks of the abrasion with a correct picture of an aluminium leadinge edge who has been tested in the same abrasion enviroment

NDI will find the thickness of a sheet ... if that's what you're looking for.

"without doing any test"

Duh? So, you just want to guess?

If you really want an accurate answer, laser profilometry, as built, and after use, can be used to compare erosion of the surface figure.

gorkabilbao...

We need a better definition of Your problem.

What do You want to do.. and WHY? IE: is there a sudden "screaming" need/urgency due to obvious [FAA, DoD, JAR, etc] airworthiness concerns... or this this an exercise assigned by Your boss?

What thickness, alloy-temper are You inspecting?

What inspection accuracy/tolerance do You need?

What do You intend to use the inspection results for?

Regards, Wil Taylor
