Raised Text on Loft 1

We are having a problem with raising text from a loft. I've used the wrap feature, but unfortunately this can only be used on a cylinder, cone, etc... but not a loft. Does anyone have any workarounds??

you could possibly create text on a plane & then extrude it to the loft surface, then, create a sketch perp. to the text and cut it along the surface's profile....never tried before....hope u have luck with it!

1) Offset surface
2) Extrude text from plane up to original surface
3) Cut text from plane up to offset surface

That's what I normally do. You can get more ellaborate with surfaces in some cases where necessary to create a surface to cut with.
