Hello everyone.
A bearing catalog says that it is important that a bearing is applied a required minimum radial load in order to work correctly.
I have a vertical electric motor. Thrust bearing is installed at the top of the motor. My question is how to calculate what radial load is applied to this bearing?
In my case, the bearing perceives the axial load from the weight of the rotor
