Sometimes I need to select a suppressed component in an assembly with hundreds of components, some of them also suppressed. That means that it should be selected using the feature manager tree (the advanced component selection oes not work).

The problem is that the component location it's not obvious, I loose time and after navigating for a whyle on the feature manager tree, things become blurry [dazed]. If the component is in a pattern, it's even worse to find it.

Do you have any method to easely find a suppressed component?

Regards

Right click the component in the assy and select "Go to in Feature Tree".

Another helpful tip is to organize large assemblies into folders, or better yet break them down into sub assemblies when possible.

If you know the name you can RMB the Feature Tree and choose "GoTo". One drawback tho is that it also finds the instances of this name that are in mates.

AAARRRRGGGHHHH!
I knew that it must have a simple and obvious solution. I hate when that happens [hammer]!

Thanks
