I'd like to Drive a solid body along a series of curves. Kind of like the "Tube" feature, but the body isn't round, nor perpendicular to the curves. It has depth beyond the end of the curve.
well, as far as getting the "tube" that you want goes, expand the Offset menu in extrude and work with that ~ I think you will see what I mean after playing with it
If you're looking for the volume of space swept-out by an arbitrary solid body moving along a series of curves, I'm sorry but that capability is not supported in MX.
Note that there is a way of getting a faceted body that represents the volume of space swept-out by a moving solid body, but the results can't be used for modeling operations but you can do interference checking and take measurements using it.

We are working on a VERY limited 'Swept Volume' function which will be available in a future version of NX and even then the 'tool body' must be something which could have been created using the Revolve function. Basically, were talking about solid bodies representing the spatial envelope of a 'milling tool'.
