I have a similar case to the hydrocad sample pond #1 example on their website. Catch basins with openings to allow the stormwater to enter the catch basin and then a pipe inside the catch basin to discharge the stormwater. When I click on node report a hydrograph opens and there are two curves (primary and inflow). Does the primary tell me the cfs of the stormwater leaving the pipe inside the catch basin? And what does the inflow tell? Thank you.

Inflow is what's entering the node. Primary is what's leaving the node.

In the case where you have several different outlet controls, which are routed to different nodes, flow to the first downstream node is called "primary," flow to the second node is called "secondary," etc. For most applications, your discharge all goes to the same place, so there is only a listing for "Primary."

It would admittedly be a little clearer if the summary tables changed the header "Primary" to simply "Discharge" in cases where there was only one routing destination for the flow.
