Hello,

Please see my HydroCAD model in the attachment.

When I run it, the inflow and the outflow of one reach named "Reach 17A" is highly different. It seems like the reach decreases the inflow a lot after flow pass it. Do you know what happened with my model?

Best,

Thank you.

You have oscillations in the inflow hydrograph, originating from an upstream node. The oscillations are basically switching the flow on and off very quickly, and the reach outflow is showing the average flow.

That explains the reach behavior. But the underlying problem are the oscillations, which need to be resolved at the source. Please click warning [87] for details.
