Hey I just have a question. Can anyone please help me out...here it is....If the temperature is +14 degrees C, the Dew Point +2 degrees C and there is some surface heating producing convective cloud, what is the base of that cloud? (dry adiabatic lapse rate = -3 degrees C/1000 ft)

thanks

im asking for help not for an answer...

this is what ive gotten so far

surface temp = 14 degrees C
dew point temp = 2 degrees C
temp difference = 12 degrees c

so now do i divide it bt -3 and get -4 and multiply it by 100?
