Hello All,
i have read in many articles that the head of a centrifugal pump is equal to the difference of discharge and suction pressure. if so, how can we calculate the hesd for submersible pumps which are also of centrifugal type?

Thanks in advance.

Suction head is the height of the fluid surface over the pump's intake.

Instead of subtracting the suction, subtract the height of water above the pump centerline.
