The condition is like this:
We have Two tank with capacity of High speed diesel (HSD) 5000 KL, diameter 23.275 m and height 12.278 m. Elevation Grade/Ground around Tank is EL+ 0.7 m, and foundation tank is at EL +1.550 m, we planning to put CenterLine of Outlet Nozzle tank 339 m high from the foundation of tank. Elevation of Pump Room Ground is at El +1.000 m and the foundation have been build with size 1900 mm long, 1000 mm width and 200 mm in height (According to previously planning). But now the pump is purchase by our client is different from our first planning, they use centrifugal pump with capacity 150 m3/h with size of base plate 2145 mm long, 840mm width and 200 mm in height, and from they vendor drawing the pump foundation is 2345 long, 1115 mm width and 575 mm in height. Motor details is 30 KW with no.of Poles 2P&4P, Motor Frame sizeis 200 L. Number of stages is 1, impeller diameter 207 m, impeller diameter minimum 190 mm, maximum 235 mm, Machined ASME/Class 300 with casing split radial.
We only have problem with the height of the foundation, so i talk with the pump vendor and i said that maximum height of pump foundation that will fix with our tank nozzle is at 375 mm in height so i can put the CL of Tank nozzle 520 mm from tank foundation, but i worry about the vibration and exessive nozzle pump load.
So i think that is our situation, so can we use Flexible pump connector to handle the vibration or adjustable pipe support near pump suction nozzle and use pipe hanger at 5 diameter of pipe from elbow of line discharge to handle the exessive load? or is there any other way?
