I recommend getting Pumping Station Design by Sanks, 2nd edition. Deals with pump stations overall in a general sense with lots of details about 1000 pgs.
"Centrifugal Pumps" by Karassik and McGuire. Kulwer Academic Press.
Cameron's Hydraulic Manual. Great handbook. It is published by INgersoll-Dresser. If you go to their website you can probably find out how to buy a copy.
fatbrain.com has a good resource for finding and buying technical books.
The latest World Pumps magazine had an article there on the latest software for backwards design of pumps and their constituent components . It looked very impressive.
The magazine is on their website . Unfortunately I tossed my copy out. Sharing knowledge is a way to immortality
