PTA welding on hard materials by nature - inconel,monel & duplex material

dear friends,
can you please suggest me the best possible technique to perform Stellite powder coating BY PTA welding on hard materials like monel & inconel? i found difficulty and components often got rejected..please give me your best suggestions.

Different methods and techniques apply to different underlying alloys. Have a look at the attachment, which should help you specify your query.

Why were the components rejected? Micro fracturing?
