Oct 18, 2007 #2 dcasto Chemical Jul 7, 2001 3,570 In ASME VIII PSV's must be inspected at least every 5 years. ESD valves are not covered in ASME. I believe ISA has recommendations. If the ESD or PSV is used on a DOT pipel,ine, then they must be inspect once or twice per yhear. Upvote 0 Downvote
