Is it possible to hide the model tree in .prt file? or to make the file password oriented?

To protect proprietary information. Create a new part and create an external Shrinkwrap feature of your part.

how to create external shrinkwrap feature of a part? pls reply.

Start a new part.

Select Feature>create>ext Shrinkwrap>Open.

Browse for the file you wish to protect. Select Default Csys.

Choose a quality level. The higher the number, the more accurate the finished model but the longer it takes. Choose 3 at first. Done> OK
