PRP of Length of Line in sketch in an assembly

Hi,

I want to make a table in a drawing containing an assembly. In the table i want to have lengths of lines in a specific sketch in each part in the assembly. I've tried with: $PRP:"Length@Line1@Sketch1@Part1.SLDPRT" but it dosen't work. How can i reach a length in i sketch from an assmbly?

Just to confirm, this is a "General table" in a .slddrw file, right? Show the sketch, add a reference dimension in the drawing. Edit the cell where you want the value and then click on the reference dimension. You can then right-click the reference dimension and choose "Hide". The value will still be displayed in the table.

Yes, it's a "General table" in a slddrw. I have just one little problem... The assembly consists of 250 parts. It would take weeks to add reference dimensions to all parts. Is there perhaps another way to do it that you know of?

All the 250 parts origin from one part. The only thing that seperates them is a sketch that control a main extrude. All sketches and lines are the same in all parts. It's three line-lengths in each part => total 750 lengths.
 
So, including titles, you want to create a table with 4 columns and 251 rows?

Part1 - Length1 - Length2 - Length3
Part2 - Length1 - Length2 - Length3
...
.

It sounds like you are in for a lot of work. Next time, while you are creating your parts add a reference dimension in each part's sketch. Link a custom property to this dimension's value. Then when you make your drawing, all the data can be very easily pulled in with one step with a BOM.

Do you have 250 separate parts, or 1 part with 250 configurations?

Would it be an easy task to rebuild the assy using the latter?

If a configured part was used, a DT could be fairly easily created, formatted, and inserted in a drawing.

It's 250 seperate parts i'm afraid. It's not possible to rebuild them to configurations. Thanks anyway!
