I'm currently trying to do a Calc. for a project with an anti-freeze system. My HydraCAD calc program is asking for the density in lbs./cu ft and fluid viscosity (centipose) of the solution. Does anybody have a reference where I can gather the numbers I would need?

I referenced the spec sheet here but it is giving the viscosity @ 77d. Would I need to put the viscosity @ -9d into my calc program for a 48% glycerine solution?

Google "Physical Properties of Glycerine and its Solutions - ACI Science", that will give you a PDF document with the information you are looking for. Sorry, I tried to get the URL directly but couldn't seem to get it.

Thanks, So can someone let me know if the number that I use in the calc program for the fluid viscosity & density should be the number at the lowest temperature the solution is rated for?
