Prolblem with drawing text

I'm having a problem for the first time in that I can't add text to a drawing or edit existing hole notes. I go the create note or edit note feature, add or edit a note, select "OK" and nothing appears or the edit was not performed. Same goes with leader notes. The leader is the only thing that is displayed. I've never had this problem before. I've check all the settings I know to check. What setting am I missing?

This is a well known issue with MS Hotfix KB918118. Depending on which version of Inventor you are using you can either delete the hotfix and prevent it from reinstalling or Autodesk has a fix for IV9-11 on their website.

Hello!

I've downloaded the hotfix from autodesk site, but i cannot install it. It gives me an error message: the pacth was not correct.
I don't know what can i do now. Can you help me?

Post the error message and it may be easier to help you resolve the issue.

Katastofe,

Make sure that you downloaded the correct fix for the software you are using, and make sure that you have the most current updates to the software as well.

Inventor 9 requires service pack 4
Inventor 10 requires service pack 3a
Inventor 11 requires service pack 2
Inventor 11 with DWF Extension requires service pack 2

Both Inventor 11 patches are in the Inventor 11 zip file.
