projecting a broken view in drafting

I have created a "broken" front view and want to project a side view with the same breaks but the side view come on as a full view. How can I aline the breaks?

There's an option for this in Tools/Options

Tools/Options/Mechanical Design/Drafting/Layout

Check the "Propagation of broken and breakout specifications" box.
