Help.

I run proe2000i2 in win2000 sp1.
About a month ago it started having this
problem. Prior to that I had been working
in proe just fine for 10 months or so.

The problem is -- is that I start proe and an
exact copy of my desktop, folders, icons, and
any open window shows up in my graphics window
where normally one would expect to see parts
and datum planes.

If I try feature>create>extrude>solid... etc etc...
in order to start a sketch and get a model tree
to start on the left... the model tree will actually
*recenter* my image of my desktop into the
center of the graphics window. If I open a window
from the start menu... it will apear and remain
in the proe graphics window after closing that window.
If I open that window and move it around it will
leave smeared images in the graphics window.
If I grab the top of the proe graphics window and
move it around, then the image of my desktop
will look blurred/smeared in the proe graphics window.

I have tried all kinds of things to solve this but
I don't want to discourage any suggestions.
I am desperate.

At the same time this error started another program
that uses OpenGL started acting buggy also.
So I upgraded my 64MB DDR Nvidia GeForce2 GTS card
to a 64MB GeForce3 Ti500. It fixed this other program's
bugs. YEAH ! BUT proE still has the "desktop image in
graphics window" display problem.

Please HELP.

By the way -
I have tried the go into control panels/display settings
and toggled the "show windows content while dragging"
option. I have tried it on and tried it off many times. No luck.
problem still persists.

I have gone into my config.pro file and looked at it.
The first few lines read:
number_user_colors 150
WINDOWS_SCALE .65
SKETCHER_INTENT_MANAGER YES
BELL NO
COLOR_WINDOWS ONE_WINDOW
GRAPHICS OPENGL
.... etc etc

I believe that means it is set to OGL... right?

How does one do the "load config" thing?
I remember someone mentioning it in another thread.

Thanks.

SOLVED !

-- I think.

Thanks to Recneps... I tried going into
config.pro and changing it to something else
and changing it back! And it worked.
All looks fine, but I would appreciate any
feedback on this topic. Willing to learn
any and all about this.

Thanks
