Does anyone can help how to produce a screw(thread) by using ProE?? I meant not in cosmetic version.Thank you!!

Any suggestion??or tutorial??

Helical cut

Feature>create>cut>advance>helical sweep

First u need to sketch path for treads ( straight line which will represent total thread length. After that you have to sketch the cross section of the thread ( depending upon which type of thread u want e.g. square, acme, knuckle, buttress etc)

Thank you!!Thanks for your information, i've try it , but still can not get it, do you have any tutorial or website that could introduce me????

Search for the subject 'helical cut creation' in this forum by ProFishnet. It is very good.

you could also download the cap screw in the files section of this page to see how the helical cut was created.
