I am having trouble with shaded components appearing somewhat Transparent in Wildfire 4. I am running windows vista home premium and my graphics card is an intel 945gm express so i cannot adjust hardware acceleration. Any suggestions on getting shaded components to appear properly during modeling or when placing views in drawings?

Is that a solid or a surface model?
Is it created in Pro-E or imported?

David

That is a solid model and it was drawn in pro/e.

I'd say it's a graphics card issue then. Look on PTC's site for tested and approved cards.
PTC is very particular about the card you use.

Thank You for the help, so you think there is no way around the problem?, because i would very much like to keep my current video card.

I believe there is / was a config statement
graphics win32_gdi
that forced software emulation of graphics functions(?).
May be worth a try (or search your install & admin guide
for the term to see if it's still applicable).

Sure it's true. I saw it on the internet.
