My company just switched over to Pro-E 5 from Pro-E 3.

As a company we use Shannon text as our default for
drawings. I noticed that the ordinate dimensions are
scattered and not lining up to the leader line and some
text is coming out BOLD now. I attached a file to show
the issues. I did not have this problem in Pro-E 3.

I made sure that all the text was set to Shannon not
Shannon Bold. I cant figure out this ordinate dim.
issues either.

Hope someone can help.

No answer here. Just reposting your link because it came out broken: http://www.mcadcentral.com/proe/forum/uploads/rbreyette/2012 -03-13_144023_pro-problen.png

One thought on your dimensions. You don't happen to have a character in the dimension text in front of the @D do you? Maybe a tab character or something is pushing the dimension toa second line with the first line of text appearing as blank.

Thx for re-posting the pic. I check that and everything is
fine. I can print the same drawing in Pro-e 3 and it will
come out perfect.

I did notice when we go to the pro-e default text it works
fine. Its when we use the Shannon text we get the problem.

ALSO,

I just did a little test.

Only all TrueType fonts have this issue. so its not just
Shannon. The Pro-e fonts work fine.

Another weird thing it that is onyl happens to the
horizontal ordinate dims. NOT the vertical ordinate dims.

It may be a service pack issue but not sure we are running
M60 and I know that M130 is the latest.
