Creo 5 - Model check error

Have been using Creo 5 for a while.

At some point all of the Model check commands in the File-Prepare menu have stopped working and now produce an error.

The separate screen opens up as if to show the results but the following message is shown "PAGE CAN'T BE DISPLAYED".

Have asked several more experienced Creo colleagues without any luck and IT support are not equipped for something this specific.

All I can guess is that some script isn't running or is missing?

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you changed web browser recently? With Creo 7, we had to redefine the web browser for ModelCheck to display the results.

Thanks for your reply.

We are using Internet Explorer and have been since I started using Creo.

Is there a way to change the browser used within Creo?

In your confi.pro, set this for the Edge or Chrome browser:
windows_browser_type chromium_browser

Thanks for your reply again.

Apparently, we are only permitted to use IE.

I did find an error log in my working folder saying that MC couldn't open the XML file.
So I guess something is missing?

If you suspect missing files, reinstall ModelCheck.
ModelCheck by default is under the Creo loadpoint, but most companies move the files to a network location so everyone has the same set of ModelCheck files. I do this and I use a network loadpoint for Creo.
Copy the original loadpoint ModelCheck files over the network locations ones. BUT be sure to preserver the files Text folder as those files are your company ModelCheck configuration and checks.
