Hi to everybody,
I have to develop a structural analysis of a plastic part; the material has different behaviour between compression and traction ( Rm(traction)<Rm(compression) naturally). I can't use Von Mises equivalent stress with this material, I think that I can use the principal stress to find the maximum stress in compression and the maximum stress in traction and then make a comparison with the two Rm of the plastic substances....someone has a different idea?

Thks!!
