Preview while opening file

I couldn't see preview while opening instance file.
For generic and drawings it is visible, but not for instances.

For information, we also can't see preview in Intralink 3.4 when we rightclick and see information (cant see only for instances)

Anyone has got solution?

Are you saving instance accelerator files? I think you need them to preview instances.

is it a seperate file other than pro-E part file?
what is the extension of that file type?
Do I need to save it manually every time? how? can't it be done automatic?
It will create lot of unnecessary data in Intralink if it is seperate file.

The config option is save_instance_accelerator

File extensions are .xps & .xas for parts & assemblies.

Why cany they incorporate same info. in part file?
