pressure vs. gpm

Hey guys,

I'm fairly new to this industry and currently going thru school so bare with me haha. I have a chw pump with a static on the supply of 65 psi going thru a 1-1/4" copper line. Do you know how I can convert my pressure into gpm. Basically this is just part of a total equation I'm trying to do for a total head loss of my system. Any more info. that you might need on your side, just let me know. Thanks so much

Look in Crane 410 for the equations to estimate flow from a knowledge of fluid characterisitcs, upstream pressure, pipe size, length, and roughness, and downstream pressure.

You need to measure the pressure at the suction and discharge of the pump.The difference between these readings is the head developed by the pump.Get hold of the pump curve and check the flow against this head.
