Does pressure is needed when performing steam cracking of naptha procedure?

The cracking of heavy molecules of crude is obtained with a zeolite catalyst, not with steam, through steam you make a stripping
to remove volatile contaminants, such as hydrocarbons and other volatile organic compounds (VOCs)
