I was wondering if anyone could refer me to a good equation or reference that calculates the pressure drop in a tube header.

the tube header is a simple tube with both ends capped off and an inlet on the top left with a large diameter feeding into many smaller circuits on the right with small diameters, a crude drawing is below.

I found an equation of 3*(DENSITY)*(VELOCITY)^2/[2*32.174] from wolverine tubes, but the results seem too high, and i was hoping for a second opinion.
